Sleep-TED videos

In this video Russell Foster talks about why we need sleep and what actually happens when we sleep. Something that I found very interesting was that on average, humans spend a total of 32 years sleeping. Foster discusses that sleep helps our brains create memories and store knowledge. He highlighted the lack of sleep that is so common among people in America and why it is so important for teenagers to get sleep. People who get 5 hours of sleep or less are more likely to be overweight. The whole talk was interesting because if you really think about it, sleep is such a strange phenomenon!
